On a rainy evening, we were looking for a warm place to have a drink and maybe eat some snacks. We came across the Lebanese restaurant Yalla Yalla not too far from Oxford Street. It was one of the best Lebanese place I have ever been to. There are 3 branches, one in Soho, one near Oxford Street and one in Waterloo.
The staff is helpful and efficient, the place is pleasant with a really simple decor made from wood with a yellow color touch.
Regarding the dishes, you won’t be disappointed with the large choices of mezze to share and also the main dishes. We have tried the tabboule which was excellent, fresh and full of flavour and the Falafel, which was crusty and really amazing.
Then, we tried the Moussaka. The vegetables were well seasoned and the rice perfectly cooked. No need of meat for this meal to be perfect. We enjoyed our meal with the fresh mint tea and it suited perfectly.
In a nutshell, I would repeat what my friend said at the end of our meal. “I was very very satisfied”. This place is really good value for money.
