No exuberant shop front, no name written in huge fonts …. not really attractive at first sight but you will be really surprised when you will open the door and discover the long queue for having a seat at the counter which is the main part of Spuntino.
Lively music, warehouse decor which makes you think about those American-movie-bars in Brooklyn. You will be transported by the quality and the taste of the food. A large choice of dishes are influenced by Italian and American cuisine.
On the menu, their ground beef and soft shell crab were amazing as well as the lobster mac and cheese. Their “pea, feta and mint” salad is apparently amazing but I didn’t have the opportunity to taste it because as we arrived late it was already sold out.
Don’t forget to order their finest cocktails to go with your dish. There are specialised in whiskey and bourbon and at the end, leave a message on the wall for the other to remember your passage.
