This Indian restaurant in King’s Cross is impressive, on 4 floors, with huge spaces, a nice bar in the low ground floor, magnificent decor with in Iranian colonial influence defined by wood and rattan, a well thinking decor with details which plunge you into Bombay in the colonial period, even the loos are stylish…
Despite the crowded place, the service is really efficient and attentive. We went to Dishoom to try their breakfast which is a mix of British and Indian cuisine. At the menu, bacon naan roll, Fire Toast with wonderful pineapple and orange marmalades, incredible Chai Tea and the Big Bombay is amazing which is actually an english breakfast with spicy Indian savors.
I will definitely come back soon to try the lunch or diner dishes. A piece a advice, book a table will avoid you to wait one hour or two in front of the door. But even the waiting is thought by providing you a glass of chai tea or fresh mint tea.
