Cô Ba

London is still surprising me with its extraordinary restaurants. Cô Ba is one of them. Located in the north of King’s Cross, the area doesn’t really reassure you but you should try this restaurant because it is worth the journey.

The place is in total contrast with the area, light and airy with a modern and simple decoration.

Let’s talk about the most important…food. The menu is brief but each dish deserves to be tried. You can start with one of their fabulous cocktails: their signature, the Cobas fling or the Mai Thai Boi if you like sweetness with some prawns crackers which will increase your appetite. There is a selection of small plates: they are all amazing, the fried chicken butter and the spring rolls are crusty and tasty and the summer rolls are perfect for a bit of freshness.

You can follow with their BBQ noodles. We’ve tried the prawn one. The mix of grilled prawn, sauce, noodles and vegetables was perfect. The service was quick and the staff, likeable. I will advise you to book even in weekdays. The place is not cheap but I highly recommend it.
