Jose Tapas Bar

In the amazing location of Bermondsey Street, Jose Tapas Bar welcomes you in its small tapas bar where, the decorations and the Spanish staff make you feel in a real tapas bar in Madrid and the tapas are just perfectly made.

We celebrated our Friday with a cup of Cava of South America which was really good.We went for many small plates from traditional to original tapas: pan con tomate, the chorizo al vino, croquetas, Spicy prawn fritters with alioli , jamon iberico, patatas bravas, chorizo, padrón peppers, pulpo a la gallega and to finish with a sweet note, the chocolate pot with salt which was a bit too much chocolate for me, but everything else was perfectly cooked.

You need to arrive at the opening around lunch time if you don’t want to queue but it is definitively worth it.
