Located on the busy Portobello Road (actually this is where the Portobello Market takes place), nearby the big Electric Cinema emblem, is hidden the Electric Diner . You can go to lunch but above all to have brunch.
It would be odd for you to hang in the area because it is far from the center, the tube station doesn’t even appear on the map underground neither on touristic guides.
The Borough Market is one of my favorite food market. Near the London Bridge Station, you can go from Thursday to Saturday.
Due to its popularity, I advise you to avoid Saturdays. Under a giant covered market you can discover, taste and buy local and fresh products (cheese, fruits, meat, pastries) from England and other countries in Europe.
Its name is the specialty of this restaurant chain. This is a traditional Korean popular dish made from rice, sauté vegetables, meat or fish and at the top a fried egg, everything served in a warm stone bowl (for the meal to finish cooking when you order raw meat or egg) and in order to enjoy a very warm dish.
For discerning lovers of Asian food as well as those which are less experienced, this Chinese restaurant is the place to go. It has been my favorite since I arrived in London. Located in the heart of London, I can’t go pass the window without stopping to admire the delicious pastries.
